The Cooperating Baptist Fellowship of Oklahoma began in 1992 and is a recognized 501(c)(3) charity.  CBFO is composed of churches and Christians who adhere to historic Baptist principles and are committed to sharing God’s love in Jesus Christ with integrity both here and around the world.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Standing together on historic Baptist principles, we give ourselves fully to the work of Jesus Christ.
These are the historic Baptist distinctives that we hold:

• We believe in God who reaches to the world in Jesus Christ.
• We believe that every believer is a priest, fully capable of being approached by and responding to God individually.
• We believe in freedom under God for all to exercise the gifts of the Spirit.
• We believe in the inspiration and authority of the Scriptures in matters of the faith and practice.
• We believe in the Separation of Church and State.
• We believe in intellectual freedom within a non-creedal faith.
• We believe in religious liberty for all.
• We believe that every Baptist body is autonomous, independent, and     free to determine its own practices, policies, and leadership.
• We believe in living and working in comity toward transforming the     kingdom of this world into the Kingdom of our Lord.
